Installation Note:
To use this addon, you need to install the Pillow library for Python. A .bat file is included in the file pack to help with the installation process. Detailed instructions on how to install Pillow are provided in the Installation Guide PDF found within the file pack.

Advanced Texture Resizer
The Advanced Texture Resizer is a Blender addon developed by VH Design Studio, compatible with Blender version 3.6 and above. Located conveniently in the 3D Viewport sidebar under the "Texture Resizer" tab, this tool streamlines the process of importing and resizing textures with a variety of customizable options.
Core Features:
- Image Importing: Easily import images into your Blender project through a user-friendly file selector supporting multiple formats (PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, TGA).
- Flexible Output Formats: Choose from a range of output formats including PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, and TGA to suit your project needs.
- Custom Output Folder: Specify a destination folder where all resized textures will be saved, ensuring organized asset management.
- Preset Resolutions: Quickly resize textures to common resolutions such as 2048x2048, 1024x1024, 512x512, and 256x256 pixels, each with the option to define custom filenames.
- Manual Resizing: Set custom dimensions for your textures with the ability to maintain the original aspect ratio, providing flexibility for unique project requirements.
- Image Information Display: View essential details of the original image, including resolution, file size, and file path, along with a preview thumbnail for easy reference.

Getting Started with Advanced Texture Resizer
Welcome to the Advanced Texture Resizer! Follow these simple steps to efficiently import and resize your textures within Blender.
1. Importing an Image

Navigate to the Texture Resizer Panel:
- In the 3D Viewport, open the Sidebar by pressing
N
. - Click on the "Texture Resizer" tab.

Import Your Image:
- Click the "Import Image" button.
- Use the file selector to browse and select your desired image file (supported formats: PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, TGA).
- Once imported, the image will appear in the Original Image Info section.
2. Selecting Output Format and Folder

Choose Output Format:
- In the Output Format dropdown, select your preferred file format (PNG, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, TGA).

Set Output Folder:
- Click on the "Output Folder" field to specify where the resized images will be saved.
- You can browse to select an existing directory or create a new one.
3. Choosing Resize Options

Preset Resolutions:
- Enable any of the preset resolutions (2048x2048, 1024x1024, 512x512, 256x256) by checking the corresponding boxes.
- For each selected resolution, you can specify a custom filename in the Name field.

Manual Resizing:
- Check the "Manual Resolution" box to set custom dimensions.
- If you want to maintain the original aspect ratio, enable "Maintain Aspect Ratio".
- Enter your desired Width and Height values.
- Provide a custom filename in the "Name" field for the manually resized image.
4. Executing the Resize Operation

Resize Textures:
- After configuring your settings, click the "Resize Textures" button.
- The addon will process the image based on your selected options and save the resized textures to the specified output folder.
- A confirmation message will appear once the operation is complete.
